Pastor Dennis Spinney Pastor Spinney is a native New Englander, and came to know the Lord as a teen-ager thru the ministry of his home church, Pleasant Street Baptist Church of Worcester, Massachusetts. (His grandfather was pastor of this church from 1940-1955) With a desire to know more of God's Word, Dennis attended Philadelphia College of Bible, graduating in 1978. During his time of study there, he attended Bellmawr Baptist Church in Bellmawr, New Jersey. He taught Sunday School, led music and the choir, and also met, and eventually married, his pianist, Susan Bowers, in 1976. The Spinney's have three children - Jonathan, born in 1977; Sarah - born in 1980; and Joel - born in 1982. In 1978, the Spinney's moved to Lansdale, Pennsylvania, where Dennis attended Biblical Theological Seminary, graduating in 1983. During this time they began to attend Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, and also worked as houseparents for three mentally handicapped young people. After graduation, the Spinney's entered a church-planting ministry with the Bible Fellowship Church, moving to Hillside, New Jersey. While working as the director of a sheltered workshop for the disabled, they attempted to start a Bible Fellowship Church in that area. But family concerns prompted a desire to return to New England, so the Spinney's moved in 1987 to Dudley, Massachusetts, and helped start a new Bible Fellowship Church in Spencer, Massachusetts. In 1991, they then started a church in their home, which eventually grew, and moved, in 1993 to Thompson, Connecticut until March of 2008. Since then we have moved to 40 Schofield Ave Dudley, MA where we once had met before in 1992. Pastor Spinney is also a member of the New England Reformed Fellowship, a fellowship of Reformed pastors from various denominations across New England.
